Our house - finished in 2011 - is located directly at the Adelsberg in a beautiful setting in the gorgeous Kinzigtal, which is connected to Alpirsbach and right next to it is Roetenbach.
It is in close proximity to forests and hiking paths. The romantic "Roetenbaechle" and Kinzig run directly in the vicinity with connecting hiking paths. The so called "Ostweg" - a hiking path that runs thru the Black Forest and leads north-south starting in Pforzheim and ending in Schaffhausen, Switzerland - is an option. Looking out the window you can see the "Sulzberg". Mountain slopes and flowering fields in the summer show nature pure.

"All the beer is in the brook" a monk once said about Alpirsbach when he dropped a barrel of beer into the Kinzig. Alpirsbach is located in the Middle Black Forest. Alpirsbach is pure Black Forest inbedded into pine tree forests with it's original citizens.
Unique are also the surroundings: Romantic hiking paths, white water rivers, bizarre field formations, ancient trees. A heated local pool area, attached to the Roetenbaechle, invites to water games, hikes and jogging on soft forestpaths or trekking tours and bicycling. You can recharge your batteries in Alpirsbach. That is a promise.

Daily tours to Lake Constance, Switzerland, Freiburg, Karlsuhe, Strassburg or Stuttgart are available.
In closer surroundings you will find Schiltach with its stud work houses, historical market place and apothecary museum, saw mill museum, bathing museum, and the museum at the market place (8 km), lake Silbersee for swimming in Reinerzau (5km), famous Freudenstadt with Germany's largest market place (18 km) and of course Alpirsbach with it's brewery.
